The curved anvil, made in hight strength ERGAL aluminium, helps to hold the branch in place, and the blade moves back as it cuts-simultaneously helping to hold the branch in place and creating an easier and cleaner slicing cut.
 
The high-carbon blades are both fully hot-forged and tempered, making them stronger yet also lighter.
